The latest creation by Laura Tonatto, one of Italy’s most famous “noses”, is called San Clemente Palace. Recently the “Lady Perfume” has been appreciate even by Queen Elizabeth II for whom she has created a collection of custom-made fragrances. Exclusively for San Clemente Palace, Venice’s new five-star luxury hotel and resort, Ms Tonatto has crafted a mixture of linden, a tree present in the island’s gardens ever since the first monastic settlements, enriched with vanilla, very cipriate essences, and a brisk accent of pink grapefruit.
The new fragrance, which already perfumes the communal areas of the San Clemente Palace, is sold only in the San Clemente Boutique in the form of candles, room sprays, perfume for stationery, and in the night version for use on sheets,…
