Luxus. Il piacere della vita nella Roma Imperiale
Turin, extended till 14th February 2010
An exhibition dedicated to the positive value of the concept of luxury, seen as the incentive that leads man towards eternity and perfection. Thanks to loans from internationally prominent museums, the exhibition will be divided into five sections and will offer visitors the possibility to understand the meaning of luxury for the ancients and to admire objects, essences, flavours, jewels and everything referring to the sphere of beauty and joie de vivre.

Royal diadems and jewellery. The masterpieces of Italian goldsmiths for the Savoy court.
Turin, extended till 14th February 2010
The Reggia di Venaria organises an exhibition opening on June 26 on the jewellery crafted for the Court of Savoy since the 19th century by the finest Italian goldsmiths, that will be displayed alongside other masterpieces from the 17th and 18th century that have been preserved intact at the Sanctuary of Oropa.

Jesus. A body, a Face for Art.
Turin, 1st April – 1st August 2010
On the occasion of the Exposition of the Holy Shroud in Turin, the Reggia di Venaria is organising an exhibition in Juvarra’s former Stables on the role of the body of Christ in arts, with paintings and sculptures from the late Middle Ages to the Baroque period and a set of masterpieces from Italian and foreign churches and museums.
