MAGNIFICENT INTERIORS The Cambio has succeeded in preserving its precious original furnishings: marble tables and crimson velvet benches, trimmed with white lace, all along the perimeter of the rooms. The intense tone of the velvets, which warms the rooms and provides a vivacious contrast with the light-coloured walls and stuccos, is repeated in the majestic draperies and the carpets that protect the parquet floors.
A NOBLE FABRIC Symbol of royalty and elegance, crimson velvet also graces the armchairs of the luxurious stalls of the adjacent Teatro Carignano, currently undergoing extensive renovations that will restore it to its original splendour in time for the coming season.
